From the 2nd to the 5th of June 2022 there was a long holiday weekend for the celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. I stared this blog site in April 2012 which was the same year as the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Before I realised it, 10 years has gone since then. I wrote about the Diamond Jubilee event in my blog (in Japanese only).
The Union Jack/ Union Flag was flown all over the place.
On Thursday the 2nd, while the Royal family’s appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace, there was an impressive Fly past. Some of the air planes flew over Barnes on their return to their airfields.
The weather was good during the ceremony and it seems that most of the people enjoyed and celebrated the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. All event information is still on the following web site and several of the Union Jacks / Union Flags have remained in place.

２０２２年６月２日から５日までは女王陛下のプラチナム・ジュビリーを祝う長い祭日の週末でした。
私がこのブログを始めたのは２０１２年の４月で女王陛下のダイアモンド・ジュビリーと同じ年でした。
気がつかないうちにそれから１０年が経っていました。ダイアモンド・ジュビリーのことはこのブログに（日本語のみですが）書いてあります。
英国国旗がいたるところに旗めいていました。
２日の木曜日に、バッキンガム・パレスのバルコニーに王室の方々が立たれた時に見事な空中飛行があり、幾つかの飛行機はそれらの飛行場へ戻るのにバーンズの上空を通って行きました。
お祝いの期間中お天気は良好で、殆どの人々は女王陛下のプラチナム・ジュビリーを祝い、かつ楽しんでいるように思えました。
