Occasionally, I will do a stock check of the materials
and equipment in the
studio and at the same time I tidy up and refurbish the studio facilities. I
have checked the stock of leathers and cloths this month. Then, I rearranged
the storage place for leathers and made a file for onlay’s leathers. I
also ordered some cloths and
tools. While I ordering these things I found other item on the internet that I
thought it useful for the studio facilities.
It is the metal label frame
for box. I wanted to use the metal label frame for the studio boxes when I moved
to Barnes from Maida Vale. However, I could not find the suitable frame at the
time. Since then, I temporarily put the paper label as needed. Substantially it
works but aesthetically it is awful.
I have use approximately 60
boxes in my studio. It will takes sometime to put the frame completely.
However, it looks already nice to put the metal label frames on the few boxes.
時折ですが、スタジオにある材料の在庫と備品のチェックを行い、それと同時にスタジオの整理と設備を新しくします。今月、革と製本用クロスのチェックをしました。それから、革の置き場所を変えてオンレイ用の革のファイルを作り、さらに製本用のクロスと用具を注文しました。それらの注文の最中にネット上で、スタジオの備品として使えると思われる商品を見つけました。箱用の金属製のラベル枠です。
メイダヴェイルからバーンズに移ってきた時に、箱に金属製のラベル枠を使いたいと思っていたのですが当時は丁度良い品を見つけることができませんでした。その後、必要に応じて一時的に紙のラベルを貼っていました。実質的にはそれは用を果たしていましたが、見た目はひどいものでした。
スタジオではおおよそ６０個ほどの箱を使っていますので、完全に付け終わるまでにはだいぶ時間がかかるかと思われます。けれども、いくつかの箱に金属製のラベル枠つけてみましたがすでに良い感じになっています。
