Car Boot Sale at Chiswick School
One of my friends invited me to go with her to the Chiswick Car Boot Sale at the beginning of this month.
The Chiswick Car Boot Sale is held every month. We have been there before as it is local for both of us, however last time we went by bus, it took more time than we expected. This time I decided to walk. It is not so far from Barnes.
The Car Boot Sale is open from 6:30am to 12:30. We decided to meet at 8:30 at the entrance.
Fortunately, as the weather was very good there were already a good number of people were there.
There were a lot of intriguing things as well as junk. The small flower market was there as well. I bought a small plant (fritillaria meleagris ).
Perhaps we walked around for approximately one hour. After that, we walked back to Barnes Bridge Station and had very nice breakfast at the tearoom near there. All in all, we had lots of fresh air and a tasty breakfast, a good Sunday morning.

今月の始めに友人に誘われてチジック・カーブーツセールに行ってきました。チジック・カーブーツセールは毎月開催されています。我々とっては地元の催しで以前にも行ったことがあるのですが、前回はバスを利用して行き、思っていたより時間がかかったので、今回は歩くことにしました。バーンズからはそれほど遠くありません。カーブーツセールは6時半から12時半まで開かれています。我々は8時半に入り口で待ち合わせをしました。幸い良いお天気に恵まれ、すでに結構な数の人達が来ていました。多くの興味深いものがガラクタとともにありました。同時にフラワー・マーケットも開催されていて私は小さなコバンユリを買いました。
多分、一時間ほど見て回ったかと思います。その後、我々はバーンズ・ブリッジの駅まで歩き、その近くのティー・ルームで美味しい朝食をいただきました。全体として新鮮な空気をたくさん吸い、おいしい朝食をいただいた良い日曜日の朝でした。
