The entrance of the Mall Galleries

 

 

Recently, I went to a Miniature Exhibition organised by the Royal Society of Miniature Painters Sculptors & Gravers (RMS). It is  their “125^th Anniversary Exhibition “ for the Society and it is at the Mall Galleries in London until the 5^th of December 2021.  The reason that I went to the exhibition is because my acquaintance has two Botanical Art works in the exhibition. There are over 500 works on display and all exhibiting works are incredibly delicate. I did not know about the RSM before but the exhibition invigorators were on hand to explain about the society and the members work. One of the exhibitors, a calligrapher, is 94 years old his work is marvelous !

最近、ミニチュア画家、彫刻家、銘刻師による王立協会（RMS）が主催するミニチュア展覧会に行ってきました。この協会が出来てから１２５年目の記念展覧会でロンドンのモール画廊で １２月５日 まで開催されています。

この展覧会へ行ったのは、知り合いが植物画を２点出品していたからです。5oo点以上の作品が展示されていて全ての作品が信じられないほど繊細でした。私はRSMのことは知らなかったのですが、展覧会のお当番の方々が協会や会員の作品についてとてもよく説明してくださいました。出品者のお一人は９４歳のカリグラファーとのことでしたが彼の作品は素晴らしかったです。
